JOEY 4"

JOEY 6"

The Joey 6" has a dynamic menu screen, allowing for greater control of multiple devices.

Each device has its own sub screen that opens from the main menu showing its control functions. E.g. Pressing DVD on the main menu (left) will open up a DVD sub-menu.

JOEY MICRO 9

A new concept in inexpensive, flexible control systems, the Joey Micro9 features 9 context sensitive buttons, each with LEDs so that they can be programmed to indicate the mode your system is in.

JOEY LITE

The Joey Lite brings new flexibility into the multimedia classroom. The Joey Lite is a customisable, wall mounted touch screen control system designed to bring control of projectors, DVD/VCR and any other IR or RS232 controlled device into an easy to use and affordable classroom solution. It eliminates the need for remote controls, which can be lost, stolen or unnecessarily complicated. With the Joey Lite a simple and secure source of control, teachers can harness the full multimedia features of the classroom from one point.

Left is a sample layout although any button can be configured as any function with no limitation other than that the end device must be RS232 or IR controllable.

How the above example would work.

The above Joey Lite example layout might typically be used in a classroom situation with an installed projector and Combo DVD/VCR player connected to a TV system. The user would activate the installation by pressing the source they wish to use.

Pressing DVD would:

1. Activate the roof mounted projector

2. Put the projector into DVD mode (typically S-Video input)

3. Lower the screen if it was motorised

4. Place the Combo DVD/VCR into DVD mode

The system would then be ready for the user to use. From here the user could navigate the DVD Menu using the 'arrow keys' and 'enter'. They could even just go straight to 'play' and play the DVD.

Volume control is there ready for them to raise and lower the volume as needed. The operator might have a laptop plugged in also and could simply press the 'PC1' icon to switch from DVD to the laptop. From this oint the user might press the 'tv' icon which would switch the projector to the Combo DVD/VCR's composite video input and place the DVD/VCR into tuner mode. The 'up' and 'down' arrows would then become the channel change buttons.

Typically DIB Australia would offer the customer the option of including 'AV Mute' buttons which would also blank the projector screen as required from time to time.

The example above also includes manual screen 'raise' and 'lower' buttons.
